Brecken delivers a $200 HandReach education grant to 13-year-old Liu Fang, who was paralyzed from the waist down after being crushed under the rubble of the 5/12 Sichuan earthquake. Although Liu Fang's spine was severed and she will not likely be able to walk again, HandReach is working with 512children.org to help her gain needed therapy and education to be able to live the fullest life possible. Liu Fang's mother was killed in the earthquake, but her father and grandmother have been fully committed to her education and her future.
