Luo Wen-long was seven years old when his family village experienced a power outage on June 5, 2008. While his Grandfather attempted to light a home-made diesel lamp, the lamp exploded catching Luo Wen-long on fire. He suffered third degree burns over 75% of his head and body. With the help of generous donations to HandReach he has received treatment and surgeries at several hospitals.
